Dr. Charissa Lane

Veterinarian

Dr. Lane is a 1998 graduate of Auburn University. She practices all aspects of small animal veterinary medicine. She was born in Louisville, KY and currently resides in Shelbyville with her husband, Jason and seven cats (Fanny, Luther, Heathcliff, Milo, Maisy, Arnie and Gilbert), and one dog named Bernie.

In her free time, she enjoys reading, running and bicycling. During basketball and football season, you can be sure she will be cheering on the Auburn Tigers and Louisville Cardinals!

Dr. Teresa Gregory

Veterinarian

Dr. Gregory graduated from Auburn University in 1991. She is a small animal and exotic veterinarian. She treats birds, reptiles, rabbits, ferrets, sugar gliders as well as cats and dogs.

She enjoys hiking, birding and canning when not dealing with her menagerie at home.

Dr. Sydney Young

Veterinarian

Dr. Sydney Young graduated from the University of Missouri in 2018. She enjoys seeing companion animals while also dabbling into exotic species. Her hobbies include beekeeping with her dad, tending to her house plants, spending time with her children and trying new restaurants

Amy T., RVT

Office Manager and Veterinary Technician

Amy is a 2006 graduate of the Nebraska College of Technical Agriculture where she received an Associates of Applied Science in Veterinary Technology Degree with an emphasis in Equine Care. She was raised on her family’s farm in Madrid, Nebraska where she enjoyed participating in 4H activities, showing horses and dogs and competitive barrel racing.

Amy has lived and worked in Kentucky since 2006. She currently resides in Shelbyville with her husband Michael, 2 daughters and their pugs and cat. Besides caring for animals, Amy also enjoys baking, making crafts, and gardening.

Mollie E., LVT

Veterinary Technician

Mollie is a Licensed Veterinary Technician that joined our team in November 2021. Her veterinary medicine interests include surgery, ultrasound and radiology. She is also a licensed wildlife rehabber.

In her spare time, she volunteers at various humane societies as a technician for spay and neuter clinics and a foster for medical and neonatal animals. She enjoys reading, cooking, archery, geocaching, and spending time with her husband and all of their pets!

Emma A.

Veterinary Technician Assistant 

Emma is a vet tech assistant. She is currently attending college to prepare for applying to vet school. She is working with us during her summer and Christmas breaks when home from school. She spends what extra time she has barrel racing.

Kayla P.

Veterinary Assistant

Kayla lives in Shelby county with her husband and two little boys, and 2 dogs. She joined our team in 2021 to pursue her passion of caring for animals. She previously worked at the humane society since 2016.

In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her son, riding horses and hiking.

Madilynn H.

Veterinary Assistant

Madilynn is attending veterinary technician school and will be graduating in August of 2025.

In her free time she enjoys gardening and spending time with her cats! She loves all things nature including hikes with her dog Melly.

Sara S.

Veterinary Assistant

Sara plans to attend school to become a veterinary technician. She hopes to work with marine life and exotics.

In her free time she likes to scuba dive and go to concerts. She loves to be around animals as much as she can.

Jessica B.

Jessica lives in Taylorsville with her husband and daughter and two dogs and two cats. She enjoys all things outdoors when the weather is nice. Gardening and raising sunflowers are her favorite activities. She is currently in school for her bachelor’s degree in wildlife conservation.

Jillian L.

Client Service Representative

Jillian graduated from WKU in 2024 with a degree in Parks, Rec, and Non-profit for her love of the outdoors and wildlife. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her family, friends, and her dog Wiley. Self-care is also an important part of her life!

Lesley D.

Client Service Representative

Lesley was born in Louisville, KY and she grew up and lived in Oldham County most of her life. She is currently living in Shelby County with her dog, Phoebe, a foster failure. Lesley has always had a love for all creatures and people, which is what brought her to veterinary medicine. In her spare time, Lesley enjoys time spent with family and friends, and basically anything outside (in warm weather!). Lesley is excited to get to know the clients and patients at Finchville Animal Hospital and to be a part of the FAH family!
